If anyone out there has had a tummy tuck and arm lift, I would love to hear about your results, satisfaction level, and heal time. The good the bad and the ugly! I am mentally prepping myself for this. I am getting an extended tummy tuck and arm lift in Mexico - TJ Sept. 2nd. I will leave for home Sept. 7th. 3 days in hospital and remaining time in extended care facility. Hoping to come home OK and not needing additional care. Please respond if you have had either or both of these surgeries with your experience and help a sister out!

I am going with LIMARP, Dr. Marco Rhodas. TJ, Mexico. Very affordable. $5700 for both arm lift and extended tummy tuck. I have been very happy with how they have dealt with my case thusfar. after my return 9/7, i will post more info on my experience. Best wishes.

I had belt lipectomy (full circular TT) an muscle repair, fat transfer to my butt , breat lift an implants and lots of lipo! Dr. Neibles in Tijauna Mexico did it! I absolutely loved him he took such great care of me an I love my results!!! I will tell ya the first 3 days are hell but the 4th it all turns around ... You feel better everyday! I paid 7000 for all including my hotel stays an hospital stuff an the under garments. Now everybody's price tends to be different due to what your body looks like. I go back in Feb. for an arm lift an some body sculpting! Can't wait!!

Thanks for the response! Sounds like you had a great experience. I am getting arm lift and Extended TT/hotel/hospital included 7 days... $5700. I will be going back in March (if all goes well) for breast and thigh lifts. Do you know how many pounds of skin were removed from your tummy tuck? i am thinking I am leaving 7-10 lbs easily behind with tummy and arms. I am just a big bag of skin. Thank goodness for these surgeries. How long did you stay out of work? How long before you felt somewhat normal and were able to sleep normally?

I believe they took 15 pounds of skin... An I'm a hair stylist so I took off one month an I still think that was a little 2 fast but I had to get back to my clients! It was rough being on my feet 8-10 hours a day 6 days a week! As far as sleeping normal about a month / month in half !

Thanks for the info... that is about what I figured to feel somewhat normal. I am taking 2 weeks off from work, but then working from home for 3 more weeks. I have a desk job, though I do travel some. I won't travel until Mid October though, so 6 weeks out, should be OK. Very personal question, I know, but how long did you have to wait before you could be sexually active again? I was thinking 4 weeks or so... does that sound about right? I will also let you know how the arms go for me. I have heard the arms were worse than the tummy for some. I just can't see that, but I guess we are all wired a little differently. How was your flight home from Mexico after the tummy tuck? How long did they keep you after surgery? I am a bit nervous about the flight home. 12 days to go and counting!

Hey Ronnie I am soo excited for you..I cant wait until I can get my makeover I have so much extra skin but I want to hear your experiences with the doctor down there in Mexico I want to hear everything. I used Dr. Garcia as well for my sleeve and he was GREAT.. I had spoken with you awhile ago before I went to Mexico and u told me about ur experience as well. So here I am again asking for your input and output on what to expect how did the staff treat you. How was the pain..U know I wanna hear it all...5700 was not bad either...Where can I find the doctor you are using so that I can see what all he offers..I first want to start off with my tummy tuck and my arms done..How can I find the doctor you are using to do all your cosmetic surgery

I had a tummy tuck on Tuesday. I'm doing good and the pain is not as bad as I thought it would be. I haven't looked at it yet because I have a huge bandage and a binder on. Can't wait to see it!

Michellemo, who did your surgery? Are you happy with everything so far? I know you havent seen it under the bandaging, but as far as pain levels, how flat everything is even with the swelling and bindings on, how you were treated by the doc/nurses...

I had a breast lift last Friday, Aug. 23rd. here in New Jersey. It cost me $8000. for everything. I shopped around and all the prices were with a couple of hundred dollars from each other. I went with the doctor who hard a better bedside manner. I'm still swollen but I must say, I was never in any pain at all. Good luck to all of you that are going to have plastic surgery. Keep me posted on your pain and recovery.

Great to hear from a couple of folks that didn't have too bad of pain. tomorrow is my last day home. I leave for TJ, MX for my surgery Sunday at 6am and report for surgery at 8am Monday... no labor day in MX. I am so excited, but of course nervous about pain and recovery. But I am ready... mentally and physically. $5700 all inclusive week stay at the hospital and after care facility for extended tummy tuck (around to the back) and arm lift. wish i could fast forward to Chrismtas time . I will definitely post some pics and reports of my surgery and such!
