    Default Arm lift recovery?

I'm over the bat wings and ready to bid them farewell!! Can anyone tell me how long your recovery took in general? I work in an office with no real lifting involved & am just wondering how long I might be off work. Have my consult the 26th of this month but am just curious what everyone else experienced. Thanks!!

Plan on LEAST two weeks off work. It takes several months to fully recover the nerve endings/tingling/tightness. Very weird sensation! Massage is IMPERATIVE. I will give you some good massage pointers if and when you have them done!!!

Thanks Christy! I'm hoping to have this done before the end of the year, just trying to get it in my mind what time frame i can get away with at work so i know what to tell them at my consult. Once i have it done i'll be in touch for those tips, they're GREATLY appreciated!!!

She was still reachable by email last week but was going to Spain in a few days. Send an email? It'll be there when she gets back, or maybe she still has access if she has the right phone/technogadget.

Well my surgery is scheduled for December 12th so unfortunately I don't have any words of wisdom yet but would love to have a surgery buddy on this since we're so close together in dates!! I'm having my arms done along with a breast lift & augmentation.

Breast Cancer Medic - how long will you need to stay in TJ? Will you have drains! Will you go home with drains? Just wondering how that works??! My husband is getting sleeved in April '14 by Dr Kelly. Trying to figure out if I coulda et some work while we are in TJ. Please keep us updated with your surgery!

I had fairly extensive surgery in Monterrey with Dr Sauceda just two weeks ago. Arms are recovering very nicely but what I do know is to just be careful. The incisions heal pretty fast, but still can have risk of opening up or widening the scar by over doing it. Since i had multiple procedures done at once, i don't know the specific time off and restrictions for arms, but, the general message pounded into my head is that it takes 6 weeks to really heal and avoid longer term issues. I have 8 week restrictions for some activities. Desk job, only doing arms, you can probably return to work in 2 weeks (of course depending what your surgeon says) but just be careful to not put tension on those incisions.
