a little tech help please

how do i turn off the email part of this site? I check my email once or twice a mnth and its full of stuff i already recieved notifications for. Somebody helps! I really hated to ask, but Ive clicked everything on here with no luck. I need a tutor! thanks for any help!

Got to your Control Panel. Under the Settings Panel there is an option "General Settings" Select that. On the page that comes up there is a dropdown box that is next to Default Thread Subscription Mode as a title. Change this to "Through My Control Panel Only". And hey presto you should stop receiving those email notifications.

Just went further down the page, you can also turn off the thanks/personal message options via email as well.

Thanks Chaedhin! In addition, Dana, if you are talking about the daily email that shows the days new threads, the next time one arrives in your mailbox, open it up, and scroll to the bottom. There is an unsubscribe link in it. Click that to stop delivery of them. Hope the info helps. Send me a PM if you need anything else, or post back here. Kind regards.
