I've had it a couple of decades. Most miserable pain EVER. I'll probably end up having surgery.

I've had problems with it too for about 15 years and have heal spurs. I have had many times where it gets better but I'm having issues again with my right foot. I've been thinking about seeing the doctor for it again, I'm thinking I may need surgery but hoping not. This time it started giving me trouble only a couple of weeks ago, after a good bit of weight loss so I'm thinking it is more related to the heal spurs this time.

I had it really bad a few years ago....with the added bonus of heal spurs. I'm on my feet all day so not a fun time. I have one set of custom orthotics that helped, but I actually found that crocs worked better than anything. I wore them everyday to work and went though 2 pairs/year. I'd even have to put them on just to get up and pee in the middle of the night because my feet hurt so bad to even walk 10 feet. Couldnt tell you if the majority of the pain was from the fasciitis or the bone spurs. Gradually the pain went away. Unfortunately I gained about 40 pounds but surprisingly the pain in my heals didn't come back. Instead I now have extremely painful Achilles' tendons after just a few hours at work. Hoping my WLS will help that.

Maybe I should try some crocs too. I'm disappointed that my feet are giving me troubles again after over 45 lbs of weight loss this year but I have had problems with them for so long it shouldn't surprise me. Good luck to you, I hope more weight loss will help us both!

Did your Doctor approve the Ibuprofen???? I hope your pain gets better.
