Hi my name is Melissa Schulz,
I had the gastric sleeve surgery in Ypsilanti, MI in September 2012. I was an overweight person most of my life, I was at my lowest point when I had surgery I felt depressed, pain in most of my joints, my overall health was poor to say the least. I had atrial fibrillation, hypertension, sleep apnea, prediabetes, high cholesterol. At age 42 I felt like I was so much older, I just wanted to be healthy and life a long life. But the way thing were going I felt like I would be leaving my family much to soon. Well that was then but now I am such a different person I feel happy, more confident, success person. I am the happiest have have ever been, I feel strong and capable of doing anything I set my mind to.
