Increased body odor after sleeve

I'm in the same boat Ckruts - no problem with body odor but the taste in my mouth is like something died... When I wake up it's the worst - I have to jump out of bed and immediately use mouthwash. I try breath mints and spray and as soon as it is gone the taste immediately comes back. But if this is what we have to suffer through for the weight loss I will take it!

Me too!! I never had BO until I was sleeved! So weird?

I am 2 months out and boy do I notice the BO. I have tried some different deos but it still offends me. I used to pride myself in smelling fresh. Nothing is working. Help!

Protien powders, drinks and bars.......it gets better when you can leave that all behind!

I'm only a few days post op and don't have this problem but if I do, my close friend found a solution!! She is 7 mo post op and her body odor and breath were very offensive. Her doctor suggested some natural remedies such a chlorophyll tablet and it worked!! I don't know how but it did. Just google it and I guess this is rather well known!

Someone on this site said to buy Bronner organic peppermint soap. I bought some of that, the body lotion, and peppermint oil during my "prepare" phase for post surgery.

I switched to clinical strength deodorant lol I also carry one with me in my purse just to be safe lol

LOL .. Something I noticed when I did the cabbage soup diet .. And not a problem again until after sleeve.So I stocked up on body sprays.. Lightly fruity smell .. "Degree "is one brand "Calgon" another . Spray that on before dressing .since I have to go through this process,than I feel better if I sweat with a light spray on. Nothing heavy smelling just something light , not perfume.

Ugh!!! This Ketosis smell is killing me. I smell like motor oil. Does anyone else have it coming from their vagina?? My new boyfriend won't go down on me because he said it smells bad. I've never had that problem. Is there anything I can do for it???? Help Please!!

It's ketosis. Our bodies releasing all the crud and burning up fat. It effects pee, body odor, and breath. I've found clinical strength deoderant works better (and I have to apply it twice daily), these peppermint beads http://amzn.to/1IHkAwM on Amazon are the only thing that combat the bad breath, and for the urine if you are in a public or friend's restroom you can also use a nice smelling essential oil like lemon, orange, or peppermint and drop a drop or two of oil into the toilet before going.
