Hi...I'm in Belleville (near Romulus and the Airport) and I could REALLY benefit from meeting others who are going through this weight loss process. I was in touch with a gal in Ypsilanti and we spoke about getting together but it never panned out. She was a few years out from surgery, so I think her need to get together with others was much less than mine. Would love to meet some local people!!!

Oh (((Melissa)))-Please I hope I did not offend you with my post! I thought you were a few more months/a year along and you were doing well (well, you ARE doing well) and you were just too busy to meet! Please forgive me!!!!! I would still love to get together some time. It would be great to get a little group going, even if we met once a month or so! It would be fun!

I'm from white lake and also having my surgery done by dr. Carlin. I see him on aug 28 and will get may date (hopefully) at that time. I'm thinking mud sept. Did you get your date on your first appt with him?

I am in Howell but lived in Westland for many years. I was sleeved at Henry Ford in March. Total loss is 73 lbs.

I would love to get together, but hubby just lost his job on Friday. He worked for Terumo Heart in Ann Arbor and they sold his line to another company. Until we find him a new job, we have to be cautious with our money.
