Biotin Questions help me out please

I've been taking 10,000mcg of biotin since about 3 months pre-op. If I lost much hair it was not apparent. Don't know that the biotin made a difference, but I can say that my hair and nails are growing faster and I actually have fingernails for the first time in my life, so something is going on there!

That's wonderful! I unfortunately, didn't start taking Biotin until my hair started to fall out. My hair used to fall past my waist. But then it started coming out in clumps. My hair stylist said the weight of my hair was probably making it worse. So, to my dismay, I chopped off almost 10 inches! It still fairly long (about halfway down my back), but it definitely made me a little emotional.
So, it's definitely good advice to start the biotin from the get-go. Don't wait until it's too late like I did.
