    Question EEEEEEEK! O.O Rollercoaster question.....

Ok so I've never been on a roller coaster IN MY LIFE. Being a sweetheart with nothing but kind intentions, my boyfriend got us day passes to Fiesta Texas Six Flags this Saturday for my birthday. SUPER excited & severely nervous; the scary rides you ask? Nope. I'll be prepared with barf bags o' plenty. (lol) I'm pre-op & currently sitting at a whopping 255lbs at only 5'7"; I'm scared I won't fit as I'm sure y'all can understand. I don't think I could handle to embarrassment of us not being able to ride certain rides because I'm too huge! My boyfriend is the same height as me, but slender. I know he won't make me feel bad about it or anything, but still, how MORTIFYING! That's why my plan was to get the surgery & after losing at least half the weight I need to, THEN go to Fiesta Texas to celebrate. He didn't know that plan so no foul on his part. :P

Has anyone been & can they tell me what kind of size limitations they faced? ie: if you didn't fit, your weight/height & what kind of ride it was? Pleeeeease & thank yous!

My husband rides most coasters at cedar point and he is over 400lbs. I'm sure you will be fine! Just quietly ask an attendant (from their experience) if you should even try questionable ones. My hubby has one nightmare story where the attendant flipped the bar over and was heaving it with his feet to get it to click in. He was so embarrassed that the guy even tried like that! Everyone was staring and my two little brothers had to get off. Theme parks have NEVER been my thing. But that's because I'm afraid of heights and a huge ninnie! Good luck!

Well your boyfriend's heart is in the right place - i'm with you though, I would want to wait until 1/2 my weight was off as well. My son has been going to Cedar Point for years and has always fit into the rollercoasters and he's a Big boy. Don't worry about it and go have a good time!!

I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain last year before my surgery. I was 266 and 5'7. I didn't have any problems getting on or fitting on any of the rides. I think I was more scared that the rides would hold me in than fitting into the ride. I was fine.

We just went last weekend and I had a much more enjoyable time. I fit in the rides much better and was able to last all day without really feeling tired.

Awesome! Thanks guys. Now I won't be stressing all day tomorrow & all the way up to the rides. haha I guess it will be another good frame of reference for once I'm sleeved & have lost weight. I can go again at least halfway into my weight loss journey & realize how much roomier the rides are. lol
