Hi everyone!!
Thanks for the support, it has been wonderful. It's also nice to have made some friends here who understand what I'm experiencing. I'm 5 days out, feel wonderful, minimal pain, fluids and protein in, and today is my birthday!! Best present ever; a new healthier me is on the horizon and I can't wait to meet her.

I got sleeved 1 week before my birthday. I remember before getting sleeved, thinking to myself that my birthday wouldn't be much this year, recuperating from surgery and all. Probably be in pain and hating life or dealing with some post surgical regret....yada yada. I was completely wrong. Waking up on my birthday, I felt optimistic, happy and relieved! I just kept thinking, damn, this is going to be my year! And, so far it has been. I'm wishing the same for you in the upcoming months. Happy Birthday !!
