OMG!! The last line in that article - "It's easy to not eat, when you cant eat." I have not read anything on this site about how "easy" it is not to be able to eat. Even when we've all done the research and have read the posts of the difficulty people have after surgery, just getting their protein and liquids. The normal thing to do when your body is not doing what you're used to it doing is to panic. As much as i'm trying to prepare myself, I am going to be waking up from surgery with 3/4 of my stomach missing. I'm not even going to be able to drink water the same. TIME magazine used to be a reliable source of information, but obviously this writer wanted to do a sensationalized piece.
I just stumbled upon this article earlier this morning.
