Hi! I'm new here! Just started pursuing the sleeve surgery. I have fought my weight my entire life and go up and down. I am ready to end this and have something that helps me stay at a healthy weight! I am 31, 5'6.5" and 257 lbs. with a BMI of 44. Anyone close to those stats?

Hello, I'm new as well. I currently have a lap band that I am haing removed on 5/22/13. Band has been in since 2006 and I just had so many problems with it that I decided to have it revised to the sleeve. I am 45 5'0" BMi 41 and was 227 pre banding and am now 215. i lost about 50lbs with the band only to gain it back after numerous adjustments. I can't wait to get the sleeve and start this new journey.

I was originally thinking about the band and then the more research that I have done, I have chosen the sleeve instead! Good luck to you!
