Ive recently had a gastric sleeve on 08/04/2013 by keyhole surgery, this week, week 2 I feel very hungry I've spoke to other people who have had the same operation, and they haven't been at this stage til 6weeks after surgery. I'm currently eating Heinz soup a full tin strained and rice pudding and small packet of soft crisps ( quavers and wostits). I've spoken to dietian who I'm under and she said I should be on fluid intake only but I feel uncomfortable eating this because I eat more of these things. Can anybody help me and give me some advise please

Wotsits and quavers are empty fatty calories and are slider foods which will just get you back into bad habits, so please try to stop eating them so early on!! Try fortifying your soup with protein powder or skim milk powder so that it helps you feel fuller longer, also, are you experiencing reflux because sometimes this can be confused with hunger.

My stomach rumble like its hungry and I do burp quite a lot and lose wind more than usual. Currently to be honest I'm currently eating two full tins
Of strained Heinz soups within 30-40mins after the soup and I'm eating sugar free jelly aswell. My wife has told my that I'm eating too much too soon, tomorrow I'm going to telephone the surgeons secretary to ask some questions but will be glad to hear from other people who have experience this type of surgery aswell. I came out two days later after surgery, and when I got back home the following day I was walking normal but with care of my stomach
