Default Nearly 6 months out and down 93 lbs.

Well here I am coming up on 6 months from the date of my surgery (10/23/12 to 4-23-13) and I haven't reached my goal like I wanted to but I have lost 93 lbs now. I still have 29 lbs to goal. I am not disappointed because I have worked hard at this and I feel that I have lost a great amount of weight in this past 6 months. I know that I would have ever been able to have done it without my Sleeve. Anyone considering the sleeve should do it because this has changed my life completely!! I never exercised before my sleeve because I couldn't get my butt moving because of the excess weight that was restraining me. I was in bad health and I never counted calories, fat grams or carbs before, anything I put in my mouth was carelessly thrown in there without thought. I now belong to an excellent health club where I swim and work out on all of the equipment. I am trying to master the elliptical! I also exercise at home on my own treadmill every night and I go to a rowing class every Tuesday night. I have also learned to read all labels now. I don't eat processed sugars or fried foods and when I eat breads it is always whole grain. I am overjoyed at my progress! Follow the rules and the sleeve will work for you!!! If you don't you are only hurting your own progress and no one else will care except your own conscience. Thank you for helping me along friends and always being there for me!
