WLS Group - anyone had surgery through these guys?

I am looking into my sleeve surgery, so far these ones have been pretty good in communicating with me, I was wondering if anyone had had their surgery through them and what their feedback was. I am looking to go to their yorkshire hospital for the surgery xx

From what I have heard I would be careful. They are great before surgery but the aftercare and follow-up leaves a lot to be desired! I have spoken to a person who couldn't get an appointment for a follow-up even though they kept vomiting even after 8 weeks post-op. Please be careful!

I had surgery 5 weeks ago through WLS and so has one of my friends. Their aftercare has been brilliant and I am so happy I went through them!

I had a gastric band put in by the WLS in Nov 2010, they were great, my aftercare plan has just expired but they have been marvelous with me throughout. I am considering a sleeve now because I have suffered lots of pain with my band, the vomiting, chest and back pains, and dizzyness has become too much for me now. Going tomorrow for defil because I'm struggling getting water through my band. I would recommend WLS though as a company.

I am booked in for a sleeve on 22nd April. I had a band fitted 4 years ago and had lots of problems. I had the band removed 6 months ago.

Hi,
I have a couple of questions and wondered if you have had the info from your surgeon:
- how many nights are you expected to stay in hospital?
- have you been given a pre-op diet? Mine has just said nothing to eat after 7am on the day but... What if there is still food in tour stomach?? I expected having to go on a liquid diet for at least a few days.
