    Default Rowing Machines??

I was curious if anyone on here has used a rowing machine to get in their weekly exercise. Doing research it looks like it helps with more muscle groups then the treadmill or elipticals. I would appreciate any input on this I can get before i make the plunge in purchasing something for the house for them foul weather days one can't hit the track.

Right after I had my sleeve I had to use one in therapy for my knee. I loved it and if I could afford one I would get one! Now that I'm done with therapy I miss it. It's not for everyone though so if you haven't tried one out you might want to before you commit. Best wishes!

I have rheumatoid arthritis and my rheumatologist told me that a rowing machine was one of the best exercise machines that I could use. It would work all muscles and no impact on the joints.

I have an old high school friend that is a personal trainer and about a month ago a friend of ours asked him what would be the best machine to purchase for her home, elliptical, rower, or a treadmill...and he said hands down the rowing machine was the best.

I bought a Total Gym for the family!

We are all loving it! I work out in the morning "cardio" and then at night I hop on the Total Gym for 15 - 20 mins and OMG can you feel that!!! But I really liked the fact that you could do Rowing type moves on it.

I WANT ONE so bad! I loved using those at the gym and it would be great to have at home. I have an elliptical so this would be a nice addition. I think it is great exercise. It works legs, arms, back, shoulders, your core. If you find any for a good price - let us know!
