Continued Complications

Well, here I am, 4 months post-Mommy Makeover with Dr. Yanez. Due to MANY complications, I've been seeing a surgeon here in St. Louis and I'm scheduled for surgery on April 18th for a tummy tuck revision, and surgical closure of a large (13 cm x 10 cm) open abdominal cavity wound.

I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE from seeing Dr. Yanez. If you look back, you can see my story. And my size C cup breasts? A DD when measured by a specialty bra shop.

Please think twice before seeing Dr. Yanez!

My mistake - it sounded clearer in my head than what my hands typed! I'm NOT seeing him again - I've been followed by a surgeon here in St. Louis, and he'll be doing the revision. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Dr. Yanez.

U read so many horror stories about that place...I hope u get well soon and this chapter in ur life can be a distant memory. I am not going to even consider the "mommy makeover" but my Dr had said to get to goal weight and maintain it for 6 months. I know a lady in this town who did the same as u and ended up in the hosp here with a infection and 2 blood transfusions...she had fainted a few times after her surg while recovering in hotel in TJ...Gl and GB in ur recovery.

I saw the Dr. Yanez at Jerusalem Clinic. Not only was he rude to me prior to the procedure, he didn't even start until MIDNIGHT!!! I was very angry about that - I didn't want a tired surgeon working on me. Not to mention the fact that his brother, a different Yanez, is the one who finishes the sutures - and he's not a plastic surgeon. The scars around my nipples are pretty ugly.

This is horrible!!!!! I am considering getting my upper arms done and my tummy tucked but am considering 2 different surgeons in TJ. I have seen the work of one of them, right Christy??? LOL! And was impressed! Sorry you had to go through that. Good luck to you on the revision!!
