    Thumbs up If you are not tracking your measurements, you should!

    So I have hit my 6 month plateau and from last month to this month I lost no weight! I am still sticking to my diet with very few cheats and still working out regularly. I started to be quite bummed about that until I took my monthly measurements. Even though I had lost no weight I am still loosing inches! They say muscle weighs more than fat so I might actually be toning my muscle now! Knowing that I still lost 1 inch in my thighs made me happy!
    Moral of the story is measure yourself! This can keep you positive and focused on success even during a weight loss slump! It did for me!
    Plus it is awesome to see how many inches I've lost from the beginning!

    I agree, I saw this suggestion before my surgery so I too have been taking my measurements monthly on my anniversary date, along with my weight and BMI. Some months the inches lost have been pretty significant, others not so much, but always changing.



    Start weight: 286 (8/28/12)
    Pre-op weight: 272 (10/22/12)
    Goal to weigh what my drivers license says: 225 (3/9/13)
    First goal weight: 199 (7/20/13)
    Second goal weight: 186 - 100 lbs lost ( )
    Third goal weight: 175 ( )
    Fourth goal weight: 150 ( )
    Final goal weight: remains to be seen
