Default Almost 5 months out, and...

    I'm doing GREAT!

My 5 month date is April 8th. I am down to 211, and am bound and determined to lose 2 more pounds before next Monday so that I can celebrate 80 pounds off my body.

There are some SVs as well as NSVs to share:

    • Did I mention I'm 78 pounds lighter than I was on November 8 when I went in for surgery? SEVENTY EIGHT POUNDS in less than 5 months. I AM KILLING IT!
    • I went from size 24w to 14w. They are getting a little saggy in the azz, which is fine with me. It's a good problem to have, as a matter of fact.
    • I went to Jones New York outlet store to get clothes for work and started out with a 1x shirt that literally swam on me. I bought a size LARGE. (Jigga WHAT!?)
    • My diet has changed so tremendously that I am making conscious decisions to eat healthier lately. I'm using my juicer and getting in tons of fresh green vegetable nutrients these days. Kale, collards, chard, cukes, celery and I sweeten it with a green apple or a few carrots. My skin is glowing, my hair is growing and I look years younger.
    • My fatazz joined a gym yesterday and worked out like I was training for the olympics! I could barely walk when I left and my legs feel like whole grain spaghetti, but I'm planning go go back again today and give it 100% for the hour that I'm there.
    • The biggest change of all is that I like me again. I LIKE MYSELF AGAIN! I get all teary eyed when I think about my future and all of the good things that are coming my way. Being skinny isn't the cause; it's the change of mindset and the ability to appreciate not only where I was and where I am but where I'm going that's doing it.

Goals for the month of April:
    1. Hit the gym no less than 3x through the work week.
    2. Get outside activity 1 day on the weekend.
    3. Increase my water intake.
    4. Lose 22 lbs between now and May 8 (100 lb mark @ 6 month date)

I honestly couldn't be happier with my life right now. Wishing you all the same inner joy and self love that I'm feeling!

    XOXO,

    Nathalie

So glad to see that your life is going as you want. The sleeve makes a huge difference doesnt it?!! as well as how you are thinking. Even at this early stag e for me i notice i am thinking differently regarding food choices. I was thinking of a juicer also...are they worth the investment? Good luck for the future!

amelia - I currently have a Jack LaLanne juicer (12 years old) and I LOVE IT. I am in the market for a "slow juicer," because they grind the leafy greens more effectively). I'm going to buy it when I hit 199. It is absolutely worth the time and investment, and it's super easy to clean if you do it right after you juice. I juice vegetables first and foremostly, because I don't want the sugar from fruits, but without an apple or a few carrots, it's too earthy to tolerate. LOL I juice 2x each day - once in the morning and once in the evening. PM me if you have other question - I'm happy to share my love of juicing with you! thanks!
