I saw your post but as I'm not sleeved yet I didn't have your answers. I'm sure someone will post soon. I have noticed alot of people getting the surgery these couple of months and I'm so jelous lol I dont even have a date yet. I bet you are excited and nervious all at the same time.
Well sometimes you get immediate responses and other times you don't. Did you search the forum for similar posts? Often you can find answers without even posting. I see of your 6 posts two have no comments but they seem to be common posts.

what the heck are doctors for, I don't get it, I went to Mexico and you want to talk about no support, so there and if you are one of the lucky ones that has a doc in the states USE them! I searched this forum for months and found a whole 3 ring binder full of support. maybe you need to try one of the other forums. These people on here are my life support right now. If you can't be patience on here maybe this is not for you, cause after you are sleeved you need tons of patience which my forum friends are giving me everyday! ( I might add this is the first time I have spoken out like this on here) so I think it's the sleeve talken
I keep reading the stuff on here and it helps me mentally for the surgery. I know I am having difficulty using this site so I am trying to experiment and navigate through here and read posts. If you have any helpful hints let me know. I did not see your posts but hope the best for you. Hope you are doing well. I have my surgery on the 22 of April. Keep staying strong.
Heather I hear your frustration, however there seems to be a thread of queries on post-op complications and experiences on the messages you've posted. Much of what you would like to know is already here on the old threads, which can be searched or there is great info in the group section. A wander around the forum might provide what you want when you want it.
Umm...wow. I have to admit that typically this forum is a great support. There are those of us that have bad days, busy days, and great days. I would hope that some of the posts above we're responding to a "oh no you didn't just confront my support network" type of attitude. With that said, some of them sounded a bit harsh (just in my opinion) and again taken with a "oh no you didn't" perspective. How I took the original post was a desperate cry of loneliness and abandonment wanting to see if the cry is louder would we respond. In that perspective, yes we will. I for one didn't see the original posts until I saw this one and then found one and responded. This is a rough road for all of us and we were once there, some of us still are.
With that said, most posts from "newbie" members are repetitive and you may be able to find a lot more answers if you search some of the archives. If you can't just let us know that you were looking and didn't quite find what you are looking for and we can try to fill in the blanks. But for all...please be kind, we were once scared, frustrated, and desperate for answers too. don't worry I can be snarky too but I usually type and then delete. When it is strong snarkyville...I will let you know, just not in the mood today.
