Cold remidy that worked for my family.

I read about this in a magazine at my surgeons office last Friday and today i am finally better. My entire family has been fighting a head cold since Christmas nothing has helped even antibiotics until this "Supertonic" so I figured i should share it with you all because it seems a lot of people are sick right now.

I have had a cold since Christmas and I found this remidy on friday and I am all better today.

"Super tonic"

1 peeled gingerroot (the whole thing)

1-2 peeled horseradishroots

6-10 peeled garlic cloves

2 red or yellow peppers, the HOT ones not bell peppers. ( I used 3 habaneros the size of my thumb with the seeds just pulled off the tops)

1 peeled onion

Apple cider vinegar 1-2 cups

combine all in a food processor or chop it and add to a blender and puree. use the vinegar to make it into a paste
eat 1-2 tablespoons per day and more if you are feeling a cold come on. ( I found this article in a magazine but the bottom of the page says Farmandranchliving.com so you should be able to find the whole article there.

It also says you can either eat this just like it is or add it to foods to give them a bite. Its great in vanilla yogurt to make a dip and even my toddlers eat it. I added shreaded chicken to it and ate it with raw veggies and I am finding the more I eat it the more I want that as a snack rather than other high calorie snacks or its just as good on crackers. Its nice that I love this since I know the more i eat the better i feel. And my husband reports that even thought "this is pretty spicy it doesnt have the burning both ends effect" LOL
