cant hold anything down

day twelve and still only can hold popsicles down. tried mash potatoes todays that wasnt fun at all.plus having extreme pain along both sides of my ribs when laying in bed witch maybe getting daily better but has been intense

This needs to be answered by someone who has been sleeved, but from my perspective as an avid reader of these posts - too much too soon. I'm certain that you will receive messages suggesting you should still be on liquids for the moment. Do some searching on the old threads to read earlier posts on this subject.

My paperwork ordered me to be on clear liquids for 2-3 days after surgery, full liquids for 2 weeks, then pureed for like 2 weeks, then soft food, and then normal again. I think it was like a 6 week phase, but you must understand everyone is different. I did not try anything while on liquids....I am currently like 23 days post-op and I consume the items on the clear/full liquid diet and I have tolerated sf chocolate pudding, cheese, pork tenderlion, chicken, salmon, cod, tuna, cottage cheese, peas, carrots, and onions.

I was on clear liquids for a week then 2 weeks of full liquids. First time I had a soft food very little went down before I got the foamies.
