My doctor has me taking an iron supplement plus a multivitamin but we do periodic blood workups. Everything coming back normal. Good idea to have it checked often especially the first 6 months when we are not eating much.

I am super fancy and have been instructed to take 2 flintstones chewables with iron per day. I throw every thing else up. Gross.

Sure, but isn't that true for any supplement? With over the counter supplements and a barrage of good intentions outlining how you might have a bit of this and less of that to make you fell better, we'd all be well advised to follow the suggestions of our WLS medical team with a broad spectrum multi-vite as a starting point.

I wasn't very aware on this fact of iron. Thanks for the info. But there are some pills that cause malabsorption too rite?
