Surgery in 2 days, what should I buy now to have in the house for after????

My surgery is in 2 days (ahhhhh!) and I was wondering besides protein shakes and powder, what all should I buy this weekend to have ready for when I get home from the hospital this week? What are the items that helped you or that you liked? Sugar free jello? What? Need a shopping list. Thanks a million!!!!

Sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles (that was my saving tummy item), lots of fresh water, green tea w/peppermint (decaf), broth (chicken, beef, vegetable). Just remember to sip, sip, sip constantly. Your new tummy will let you know if it needs anything.

Chicken and beef broth, hot tea if you like it. did you doctor recommend protein shakes, if so have a few of those on hand.

A convenient water bottle. Insulated coffee mugs to keep your broth warm since it'll take awhile to get it down. Best of luck!

I bought regular soup that I liked - mixed w/can as directions say, heated it and then drained off the broth - much more satisfying than the boxed broth.
Glad to hear surgery went well and you'll be home soon.
