I get my surgery done the first of April so I have been wondering how much do people lose in the first two months? The reason I want to.know is cause I want to be able to go swimming without looking the way I do now in my bathing suit..
Hello Sara, Remember everyone's weight loss is different. I am down 26lbs post-op. But the way I see things, I didn't put this weight on overnight, so I don't expect it to come off overnight. I can't remember the last time I lost and kept this much weight off with ALL the diets I did.
It depends on a lot of variables, so what we dropped may/will not be what you do, just keep that in mind.
Also, bear in mind that for some weird reason we don't change sized quickly at first.
If you are looking for an estimate I'd say figure hoping on dropping one size in that time, but again, it's so variable.
I started a lot larger than you (that matters) and I dropped 30 lbs the first 2 months.

CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.
