Gastric Sleeve My story

Seven months and 89 pounds ago! Wow! Seems like just yesterday! All my life I have struggled with weight and yes, I have lost some along the way but always on some restrictive diet and once back to real food the weight returned with extra as well. I have tried every pill and over the counter thing out there. I have exercised until I was exhausted. FINALLY, I found something that is doable. The gastric sleeve IS the answer. You learn to make good choices to fill the smaller stomach you now have. It is like a second chance in life. Back to the smaller stomach you were born with before you turned into this huge sack that you could never seem to fill. I am thrilled that I make this decision.

Congratulations, you sound so excited and happy.Good for you!!!!! My turn Feb 9th and it is coming up quickly.I am starting to get anxious/excited and all other emotions mixed up in this mind of mine. hehehe.
Has your head caught up with your body? I just finished reading Carnie Wilsons books and she had trouble with her head seeing a smaller body. Good read....
Anyway, back to studying, take care and stay Happy and Healthy.

Thanks so much for sharing. It seems we all have a similar story about the fight. I've just been done a week and I can see my perception of food changing.

I love NOT being hungry. I love the fact a few sips and I am satiated. This has got to be one of the most positive things an obese person can do for themselves.

And I agree with you Gastric sleeve is the ANSWER!!! I've just had mine last month and am dropping the pounds like no other method i've tried! Thank you for sharing your story. I wish that in 7 months, that I would have lost as much as you had!
