    Default Plateau??????

Hi to all! I'm 4 months out and feel like I'm starting to struggle with weight loss. Has anyone reached a plateau and what have you done to break it???? Otherwise I'm feeling good. Sometimes I feel so full and can't eat or drink anything and then there are times I feel like I don't stop eating. Is this normal???? I am in such fear of failing and gaining my weight back....

On another note, the blood clot I got after surgery is still there. Doctor said its a little better but not resolved. I'm disappointed. Would love to get off these blood thinners... Ugh!!!!

I am 9 months post and have been stalled for a month. Today, my BC/BS consult nurse told me to change up my exercise routine. Think I will try that as I'm getting sick of seeing the same scale number every morning.

I eat more on the days I workout more. I have been working out 7 days a week for about a month now...and sometimes twice a day! I will say the longest period of time I have gone without losing weight is 10 days and I am just over 6 months post-op.

    Best wishes for continued success!

I think you're right on the exercise part. I would switch it up and add some strength training to your exercise routine. Every diet I've had success with in losing (but not keeping off), whenever I'd hit a plateau like that I'd switch up and hit the gym for a solid 2 days of strength training upper body one day, lower the next (the kind where you feel like jello when you walk out), then go back to cardio. This would break the plateau every time for me. But, beware the scale during this phase as strength training always causes my body to retain water while repairing the muscle.

I reach a stall on my 4 mo post op and I'm almost 5 and still well I haven't weight myself in for a Week. I had knee surgery so my workouts are minimum. I do sit a lot and what I do it's eat fruits oranges apples grapes.a friend of mine had also reach a stall what shes
Doing diffrent working out and she change her diet a little. She also weight herself daily now. My brother who's a personal trainer introduce me I juicing but I can't drink juice all day I need my protein. I'm gonna start doing that on Friday to try it the weekend and see how it goes. Good luck to u.
