Red face Pre-op diet what did you eat? Surgery scheduled

My surgery is scheduled for Feb 28 and I forgot to ask what I was suppose to eat, how long I am suppose to do it for? I'm a little nervous I am going to Mexico to have it done by Dr. Almanza (sp) What about the post op diet? Do they give you everything in a form that you are to do and not do. Lots of water and protein shakes is all I can remember. I am 58 and want to have a better quality life plus I am raising 2 grand kids 5 and 7 I want to be a good parent to them like I was with my own via skiing hiking biking. I don't want to just be known as the cookie grandma. Not very computer savy how do you get the little weight charts that you all have at the bottom of your posts.

You can get the little charts under profile I believe. They are called tickers

    Hi deanna
Here's a manual I found online a long time ago I've posted here on occasion. It is almost exactly as my surgeon hands out and they are a bariatric center of excellence. Maybe it will help you. Remember though that everyone is a little different and heals at their own pace so don't eat at the next level til you are good and ready. Wishing you all the best. I did this for my Grandkids as well, I'm to be there for them after school when their mom goes back to work, so I totally understand.
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.
