meeee tooooooo!
Nope, not a coordinator, just someone who does a lot of research on plastic surgery who also cares a lot about maintaining the integrity of this forum. I'm curious about MediaHound's response to the recent thread.
Rule #10 goes into detail about it: GastricSleeve.com Rules
Occasional posts like that are ok...
"An occasional link or a recommendation to a bariatric surgeon or a bariatric or cosmetic product is allowed, provided the vast majority of your posts do not contain such links or solicitations. Please do not plan to use your account on our gastric sleeve forum with the sole purpose to solicit business for your surgery facility or other type of business. The idea here is we do not want our community to be a competition of gastric sleeve surgery coordinators one-upping each other and competing for business, or cosmetic line representatives flogging their products to the community. Your posts should be helpful, supportive, conversational, etc, and if so, an occasional recommendation or link will be allowed."
Which occaisional post are you referring to? There were a lot of posts by different people on that thread, some of which have been edited. I just want to be very clear on what you mean as this site has advertising by Almanza/Alvarez and at least 2 plastic surgery moderators plus "snake oil" people in the past selling lotions/creams designed to "shrink skin" which don't work.
The rule says that people can make occasional posts promoting their practice provided that is not all they are here doing.
