    Add broth, and bring to boil then lower heat and simmer for 20 min.

    In meantime, wash vegs well and slice or dice to medium bite size pieces.

    Add to meatballs when they are floating.

    Cover and simmer on low until vegs are cooked approx. 10 min. Let soup settle and slightly cool before serving.

    Adjust salt to taste.

    Easy miso glazed cabbage
    Ingredients for 4 servings:
    1 head pointed cabbage
    1 oz miso paste
    1 clove garlic
    ⅓ oz ginger
    2 scallions
    2 tsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1 lime
    1 tbsp rice vinegar
    2 tbsp sesame oil
    sesame seed (for garnish)

    Preheat the oven to 200C/390F. Halve the cabbage and cut into quarters. Peel the garlic and ginger. Cut the scallions into fine rings. Finely mince or finely grate ginger and garlic into a bowl. Add lime juice, ginger, garlic, miso paste, rice vinegar, and sesame oil and mix well.

    Arrange the cabbage wedges on a baking sheet and brush with all the marinade. Transfer to the oven and roast for approx. 35 min. Halfway through, brush the cabbage with any marinade that’s slipped off onto the baking sheet. Arrange cabbage on a serving plate, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions before serving.
