Hey Scott what's up! I'm in Atlanta also going to Mexico same Doc. I have planned my surgery for September but trying to move it up to next month if I can get the time off of work. My son is also having the surgery. He wants to go as soon as possible but we are waiting on his passport.
I can be part of your support system. So good to hear of someone close to home that can give me some feedback on your experience.

Hi Renee,
Nice to meet you. I'm 3 weeks post op. Eating puree and solids. Hard to get all the protein and drink all the fluids the recommended. The whole process is over before you know it. Coming home and staying in course is a bigger deal than going to Mexico. Just remember it's a lifestyle not a diet. Stay strong you won't regret it.

Hey Scott, when you say it's hard to get the protein and fluids in is it because you are just too full? How long did you wait to go back to work?

Yes your full easily. I took off 6wks. I want to be healed and getting the whole meal procss down. I do 20 minutes a day on treadmill @ a very slow speed.
