    Default Pain

So I know I should talk to my dr and I will. But is this normal? I was sleeved on the 12th and I'm having this tugging burning sensation that almost feels like its on my skin or just under the surface when I stand or lay down on either side. It's above my belly button more towards the left side. Is this normal? Any advice for relieving the pain ?

Incisions, gas or stomach reflux. Have you been taking tums to get calcium? They will help with reflux if it is that too.

I called my dr and they said it was an incision. They said they had to pull very tight since I had a hiatal hernia. Ohh I'm suffering and I have 6 hours flying till I get home. Prayers please !

Safe flying, hope that they gave you pain meds that you can use as well. Remember to walk as much as you can, sip, sip, sip during the flight; and when you get home use lots and lots of pillows to help you get comfortable in bed -- they also help with getting in and out too!

I had that same pain for 3 - 4 weeks. Dr. said it was the main incision where they stitched it inside.

Think that's normal, I had it. Scar tissue and adhesions form whenever you are cut on. You also may also one day feel a pop/sting sensation when/if the adhesion breaks and then everything frees up. May not happen although that was my experience.
