Anyone in NJ?

I hope we get to meet someday in the waiting room!! Since I'm scheduled for December 11th, it will be after Thanksgiving. {i ain't dumb!<G>} And immediately after that, I will.....WILL....go on a pre-op diet. The nutritionist said they don't require it, but it will help them find my stomach if my liver isn't so big. She was a cute little thing....maybe all of 98 lbs. geesh. She probably eats tofu.

Hi, everyone!! Edison, NJ here! So happy to have found this forum!! I'm scheduled for my surgery this coming Monday with Dr. Feteiha in Summit, NJ!! Very excited and happy to say that I have found the pre-surgery diet to be pretty....tolerable! Although between "Sandy", power outages, gas lines, and many other happenings this past week, I think that someone is trying to keep me very distracted and not thinking about food!! I'm grateful! Thank you all for sharing your stories...you are all such an inspiration to me! My journey has begun and from this vantage point, its a little intimidating!

I'm from Old Bridge - which is Central Jersey. I meet with the surgeon, Dr. Ragui Sadek, from Somerset next Thursday and I'm hopeful that surgery will be approved by my insurance. Alice
