I was allowed cottage cheese on day 5 and love it! I mix a variety of different fruits with it and still love it. One thing I did to start was in a blender put a cup of fat free cottage cheese, one scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup frozen sweet dark cherries and 1/4 cup skim milk. Blend till smooth. That will make enough for several meals but was so Yummy it never went to waste. Probably would be good with frozen peaches.

Had same conversation at Christmas, so my mom went and got a spoonful and mixed garlic powder in it.........I was really schocked it was not that bad and made it really different then with fruit. I WANT to like it, as well...........I do not brand and small curd make all the difference as well. My sister likes to put in a bowl with yogurt on side and take a bite of each, another friend likes to mix the two. Cottage cheese is soo good for us, I am determined to figure this out as well.

I make a sugar free coolwhip salad with cottage cheese that is yummy and has a lot of protein. Has sf coolwhip, lowfat cottage cheese and sf strawberry jello powder. The recipe also calls for crushed pineapple but I left that out until I could have pineapple.

All of my step kids put cottage cheese in their chile. Truthfully, I have never tried it. If I find that I still like the taste of chile after being sleeved, then I may try it. It could be really good. ps chili without cornbread is going to be sad. ttyl, sheryl

What I do to eat cottage cheese is to make sugar free jello and add cottage cheese to it. 1/2 cup of cottage cheese for each serving. It's pretty good and I don't like cottage cheese either.

    I eat these:

They are 98 cents each at Wal-Mart, and are 100 calorie packs. The fruit is on the side and you just scoop it over and mix it. The peach, and pineapple are my favorites, but they are VERY GOOD!

Mix a little dry sugar free jello into it! I make a fruit salad that has SF orange jello dry to a carton of cottage cheese, mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple and lite cool whip. I think it would be good just putting a little dry jello into a serving to disguise the taste! Hope this helps!

The obvious is to add fruit, but you can also consider adding some protein drink powder. I found certain brands taste different too so try some different brands.

I was eating cottage cheese in week 2. Another option for you is ricotta cheese. Mix some with and egg and season with garlic salt and bake it. You will have manicotti filling in a bowl essentially.

I find that some low fat and fat free cottage cheese is watery and not appetizing. My favorite brank, because it is small curd and really creamy is Nancy's Organic 1%- it is so good. I add the same stuff that has already been mentioned and also add it to stuff instead of sour cream. I also make a meal of 1/2 cottage cheese and 1/2 Quorn brand "meat" crumbles with some pureed salsa.

I started putting Smuckers sugar free preserves in my cottage cheese. It's great! Only 10 calories a tablespoon!

well I love cooking so I make home made gnocchi and I mix the potato and flower with protein for the gnocchi
I make them as little as possible, and then after cooking I dump few of them in cottage cheese pesto ...... delicious.
