Thanks! I can tell you that today is day 9 and I feel great! Everything went very smooth and there's a huge sense of camaraderie among the patients. One thing we all found is that the pain was significantly less than expected. I'm still surprised by this. Okay, so one guy had pain issues, but his wife said he's a big giant wimp.

The focus right now is on getting in enough liquids and protein. I'm also still shocked that I've had no hunger, appetite or even head hunger!

Like others have found, the experience was an incredibly positive one and defies all those stereotypes of Mexico and Tijuana.

Thanks for all the information. I am going with Dr. Ortiz as well. I am glad that my impressions of him as a surgeon and the center were well founded.
