Hair loss has slowed- regrowth accelerated!

Hey there everyone! As some of you may know, I have suffered pretty severe hair loss as a result of my sleeve surgery which has been my only real complaint about this process- I had an almost perfect surgery and recovery with rapid and steady weight loss- but I wanted to report that in the last week or so the hair loss has really started to slow down a LOT and I have noticed significant re-growth has started as well.

There are lots of theories as to why some of us experience more loss of hair than others and it seems that, like everything else, everyone's body is different and even if you are doing everything right, i.e. getting enough protein, vitamins and calories, you still may lose a lot (like me!)

Any of you other major hair-lossers out there, keep the faith and try not to get discouraged! In month 5, things are looking up!!

that's great news! i'm off to get mine cut to my shoulders today. its starting to look pretty straggly and stringy. Glad to hear it's better for ya

I'm glad that the hair situation is turning around for you. I don't think anyone really know why some of us don't lose any and other way to much. Just glad it is getting better for you.Best wishes and Happy Holidays
