I have ALWAYS been a meat eater ... Problem before I ate it with rice gravy covering everything with bread ... I'm soooo excited I was able to eat some roast tonight .... Went down so easy and good... I started with some free weights tonight .. Feeling really good ))

Frankie my goofy self can barley work with these lil 5lb weights lol.... My dr told me on my 3 week appt that I can start using 3 & 5 lbs weights ....

Friend .. After I wrote that 1st payment check today (I was self pay in the states and financed it) I said oh no ma'm you better not have wasted all this money... So everytime I think I don't want to do it I say to myself Im not wasting my money .... Plus my sha baby 6 year old son tells me almost every day since surgery "mom tomorrow you gonna be skinny" lol my lil motivator

Im still to nervous to pick up my 6 or 5 yr olds .... If I tried to lift a 15 lb weight to so say do some exercising .. I WOULD BREAK A TOE .. I'm soooo clumsy!!!

Aww, what a sweet son! That is motivating! I'm so glad you are doing so well too. My insurance pays so little that I will view my surgery that way too. And if it doesn't change to allow the sleeve, I may be self pay too. Keep up the good work!!

I've been wondering about that. At my job I do a lot of heavy lifting. I am going to have to ask my surgeon.

I too love meat, I am going to have to limit myself because of the calories. Today i had a cheese omellette for breakfast, a 2-3 oz piece of ckn breast for lunch and around 3 oz of ckn liver for supper. I am actually supposed to be on pureed food until Fri but am jumping the gun a bit. As long as it's not greasy, my stomach is tolerating it very well. i was sleeved the same day as you. I have lost 25.5 #s so we are about the same on weight loss. I was wondering how tall you are. You have set your goal pretty low. i am 5' 6. Im actually hoping to lose to a lower weight than i've set my goal at.
