I not sure if the sounds good to anyone else. But I took a can of Premium Chunk White Chicken Breast and half a container of Alouette garlic and herb cheese spread and put it in a food processor until it was the consistence of dip. Taste good cold but could also be heated up in a ramekin. Use the Light Alouette or Laughing Cow (I could not find any) 2oz serving has approximately 6 g Fat, 4 g Protein and 75 Calories. They also have different flavor cheese spreads.

What food processor is the best for the pureed foods? I have had a couple suggestions but not from folks that have actually had to go through this stage of eating after sleeve surgery. Thanks for any suggestions????

I use a non-chunky spagetti sauce like prego. I also put some fresh spinach in the ricotta and use a slice of polenta for a 'crust'. Kinda makes spinach lasagna casserole.

Don't worry about hurting my feelings because I guarantee you not one bit of my self esteem is tied up in your acceptance.

I made some Buffalo chicken dip.

Used Franks Red Hot recipe (can find it on Google) that I modified a bit since I'm not a cream cheese fan.

Boiled chicken breast in the processor
1/3 cup fat free blue cheese dressing
4 oz 1/3 fat cream cheese
    1/3 cup Franks Red Hot
    1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles

    Mix together in baking dish

Cook at 375 for 20-30 minutes

Adjust Red Hot or other Buffalo sauce for consistency (I added more at end to make more liquid-y).

    Start pre-op: 395
    Day of surgery: 386
    Current: 275

    January: -19
    February: -10
    March: -15
    April: -13
    May: -12
    June: -15
    July: -7

Hurray! Glad to see Indian food on someone's menu! We mostly cook Indian food in the house, as my ex was Indian, and we all love it. It'll mean I can just blend mine and eat the same thing as the kids. THAT excited me more than anything!!

I took Tomato Soup, added oregano, garlic and Italian Hot Sausage and blended it in my Black and Decker food processor--yummy! Before I ate it, I added a little shredded sharp cheese.

Hi everyone! Not sure if this sounds good to anyone, but I have a mini sweet tooth and this kind of helps.
2 tablespoons of low fat Ricotta
    1 teaspoon of natural applesauce
    1 packet of splenda
    dash of cinnamon
    Mix and enjoy.
If you need to add a little more applesauce you can.
    Hope you like it!
