    Baked Salmon and Egg Puffs

    2 small cans salmon
    5 eggs
    1/2 chopped finely onion
    1 tsp pepper
    1 tbs soy sauce
    Shredded cheese

Mix all the ingredients except cheese in a large mixing bowl
    Spray cupcake tin with oil
Pour mix into cups (makes 11)
    Put cheese on top
    Bake for 25 minutes
    Serve!

These are AMAZING and FULL of PROTEIN! I had one and had to fend my husband off the rest. But you can always put these in the fridge and re-heat as you like it. I'm SUPER excited to have this cause it gets a good bit of protein and they're small so I'm not over eating!
What temperature do you bake at? And do you use regular muffin/cupcake size cups, or minis?

This sounds terrific. I'm trying this out tomorrow night. With luck I can take these to the office for my lunch or heat one up for dinner.

Egg salad really is already pureed just add a little chicken broth or maybe even a little EVOO or something like that.

I'm making a batch right now.. I love salmon patties which I make similar to this -- but these are bitesize and I can't wait to try them!

This worked out well enough for you at the puree stage? I would think it would be more like a soft food...

I just read through all the post in and I see most mention they can only eat about 2 to 3 bites and full. I start puree food next week, I have a question.
Is eating the puree food different from drinking the liquids. Right now I am drinking so much liquid why will it be I will only be able to eat a few bites of pureed food but can drink all this liquid?
Thanks for all the food ideas also

You really will not be able to eat too much in the beginning. Do not overeat. You will learn why the first time you do. Throwing up is no fun. Especially before your stomach is completely healed. Try the Baked Ricotta recipe on eggface's website. It is divine!

You can order it through their site. I used it pre op for some weight loss and it's great tasting...it did mess with my stomach a little bit but it's full of protein and taste like cake mix.
