I made Mini Tuna Cakes.. it was really easy and yummy..

1 can of tuna.. well drained
2 eggs.. use only the whites
2 table spoon of non-fat milk powder for added protein
handful of oatmeal (instant or not, doesn't matter)
    salt and pepper to taste.
few drops of Worcestershire sauce also to taste

Mix the all the ingredients except oatmeal into a bowl. make sure you mash up the tuna pretty good..
mix in oatmeal ONLY enough to make your mixture.. less runny.

heat the pan with olive oil (medium high)
use a small spoon and scoop onto the pan.. I made mine silver dollar size and flattened it using back of the spoon.
pan sear both sides and cook until there's no liquid coming out from them when pressing it with the spoon.

You can sprinkle bit of shredded cheddar or mozz cheese if you are wanting cheesy tuna bite flavor.. really tasty, high protein, and a bit of 'crunch' from the sear...

    Bon Appétit!

    Thanksgiving Leftovers Turkey Salad, NUM!

    2 ounces roast turkey breast
    1 ounce nonfat greek yogurt
    1 tablespoon mayo
    1 tablespoon cranberry sauce

Blend in a food processor until desired consistency. Soooo yummy! It might be a bit too much for one serving (makes 4 ounces), but can be split into two or save leftovers for a snack ;-)

OK I like this for a sweet treat:
    1/2 cup OIKOS greet yogurt
1 TBSP Smuckers sugar free red raspberry preserves
mix well and sprinkle some splenda about 1/2 packet on top and mix again.

    YUMMY! Tastes like a dessert!

23 grams of protein per cup so 11 to 12 grams per 1/2 cup. About 80 calories.
Reason: should say OIKOS greek yogurt

Food processors and blenders make it much easier! I got a Vitamix blender for Christmas and love it! I can put almost anything in it and blend it to a soup consistency. Generally I use a broth and throw in some cooked or canned veggies and my protein powder and blend away! I have lost 13 pounds since Dec 26th and my surgery is Wednesday. I'm almost never hungry now and prefer clear broths and my regular IsoPure chocolate protein shake which I sip throughout the day. I look forward to having good hearty soups in a puree form in a couple of weeks!

I made Turkey meatloaf for dinner. It is delicious. Easy to make. I used extra lean ground turkey.

Here is a link to the recipe.

Just a question when if ever can people have citrus and or any kind of full fruit juices again?

They gave me apple juice in the hospital! I am now a month out and I have Spicy V8 in the morning. (I have a high tolerance for spicy foods) I think whatever your stomach can tolerate will be ok, it's just the calories and carbs that fruit juice take up when you need so much protein first. Perhaps you can mix unflavored protein powder in a fruit juice? That might get both in your diet. Good luck.

I am a newbie; thanks so much for all of your recipes (and for trying them out before hand). I think you had one for oatmeal--cooking with mik and water? I can't find it; would you be willing to point me in the right direction? Thanks

I have a great recipe for Wendy's chili....

    1. Pull up to drive through menu board with speaker, order chili
    2. Proceed up to pick up window at about 5 mph and purchase chili
    3. Throw away crackers, find an empty parking spot....remove chili lid and sip some heaven
