    This is a wonderful thread.

I was pretty lazy about the protein shake thing. I just am not a huge fan of the make the smoothie, clean the blender shenanigans. I ended up living off the Premier Protein. It just tastes like slightly thicker chocolate milk and you get 30 grams of protein (11 oz/160 calories/1g of sugar). It was the perfect low effort solution to getting all my protein in. And I just saw that they have started making "snack sized" ones that only have 100 calories and 18 grams of protein. They might be problematic because they are sold like a juice pouch with a straw and you're not really supposed to use straws...but I just did the thing where you blow into the straw and it displaces the shake out...I felt like I was taking in less air that way...
    Courage, dear heart.

Thank you for this thread. I've been struggling with my protein intake. I'm not getting enough and feel wobbly and a bit weak. I'll be heading off now to get some protein shakes to increase my levels and using your recipes daily.

    My Favorite Protien shake...
One scoop of protein powder, ź cup canned pumpkin puree, one cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar free maple syrup, ź teaspoon of cinnamon and a few ice cubes.

or instead of adding ice cubes you can just freeze the pumpkin puree in ice trays

Recommend viewing that website too for shake recipes and other stuff (theworldaccordingtoeggface.com). I also bought the sugar-free Torani flavoring (like at Starbucks). These can add zest to bland meals. Love the Max protein!!
Thanks Shanna for the info... Ill try this

So jealous!! My doc has me on phase 1 @21 days of clear liquid and unblended (due to the air introduced in the blender) protein shakes, 12 more days... I'll keep this recipe, thanks!
