Dog owner roll call

Lily is our 4 year old Basenji.

We have 4 dogs
Spec is 8 1/2 yrs old chihuahua/toy poodle mix
Dawn Marie is 7 yrs old she a mix of what we are not sure
Porkchop is 5 yrs old she is a terrier mix

then we have foster dog that we are looking for a home cause the owners where going to just throw him out and we are only allowed 3 dogs in military housing
Bruno where not sure on age and he is blind chihuahua

Dog is 2 year old Yorkie. He is black and tan and weighs 8.5 pounds.
Spoiled rotten. Only trick, he will sit for snacks. Loves to bark at other
dogs and anyone at the door. Doesn't like the UPS man for some unknown
reason.

I have a 12 week puppy ...she is part rat terrier and part ?? maybe a Yorkie ... About 3 pounds and chewing everything. She is helping us fill the hole left by the loss last year of our 2 dogs, 10 yr Maltese, and 15 yr old 75 pound mutt. She has recently found her tail and has been entertaining us with chasing it. She will even try to "sneak" up on it thinking she can catch it that way. Pretty hilarious. I'll post a picture as soon as I figure out how.

Well I wish I could say that I could belong to the roll call. But on March 28 of this year, my weinie dog Hercules died. It has been very hard on us all. He is missed terribly. He loved to go for rides in the car, chase squirrels, and sleep covered up in his bed.

Madison is our 9 year old baby dachshund and his sister, Channah (meow), is a sweet 1 year old...They love "strollering" around together!

This Bolt a newly adopted bad boy. We named him Bolt because he loves to bolt silly boy. He is about a year old. We go on a two mile walk every night.

My oldest whippet Squeaks in her younger days when she used to race (she's almost 16 now)


and last but not least Candy, Barney and Smidge's grandmother, and Nibs and Sweep's mum - Mouse. She is almost 14 now. She is tiny as you can see from the size of the cup!! Like Squeaks, she retired from racing at 10 years old.


So, when they tell you you can start to look like your pets, I've always said they were lying. But, now I have my sleeve, maybe there will be some truth in it afterall lol

Update to my post of 12/22/10 (page 2 of this thread): We lost our beloved Bear-dog on Saturday to lymphoma. He gave us 14 and 1/2 years of love, devotion, companionship, and service. My husband and I are heartbroken, and Maggie seems lost without her big brother. God bless him, he waited until my Marine son came home for a visit before he really started going downhill fast. My son had not been home for two years because duties in the Marine Corps kept him away, and I am grateful that he got to come home in time to say his goodbyes to Bear.
