3 days post op

Hi I had my surgery on thrusday and came home Friday. I havent experienced pain or wind, maybe slight discomfort if i lay on my side. I do have a question though, i have 5 incisions that have clips. I didnt realise this untill the surgeon said he would see to me to take them out, what are they for? and do they hurt to take out?
Also the dietician wasnt available to see me when i was coming home so surgeon said to keep to liguid for 2 weeks, i am guessing this is water fruit juice and clear soups, i will ring dietician tomorrow.

Every doctor's instructions are a little different I am finding out. My Dr. put me on liquids for the first week; both, protein shake, sf popscicle, decaf tea water. The first week was the toughest to get anything in. I concentrated on my water intake then sipped protein drinks. You need to keep hydrated.

The clips are to help the incicions heal. i had them and after 10 days the doc removed them. did not hurt at all.
