4 days post op!

I am so excited to go on full liquids today! The chicken broth wasnt cutting it lol protein shakes and oatmeal here I come!

I wish! I was sleeved on 11/9 and I have to do 2 weeks on clear liquids. Today I'm officially over it! I think I'm starting to day dream about pureed ANYTHING!!!!

At the full liquid stage we went and got egg drop soup....yummy!!

I didnt even do clear. Only for one day.. Then moved on to protein shakes, carrot juice and aloe water.. On Day 7, I had cottage cheese and an egg. Ive lost 12 pounds in 8 days Post Op and I feel really good. I started walking 2.5 mi. yesterday and today.

My docs orders. I mean I get it...healing, etc blah blah blah. However I'm over it! I'm over here daydreaming about stuff I have never eaten...pureed cornbeef hash and I don't even eat beef! I may go get a creamed soup (probably not) but I think I'm just annoyed with these liquids. One day they taste good, next day I can't stand it. I'm excited for you EbonyAlicia and jealous at the sametime

Thankfully I had no pain! My surgery was at 730 a.m. Immediately after I felt like I was going to vomit and I was really cold, within seconds I was given meds and after that I felt fine. I was up walking a few hours later. My TOM started 2 days after and honestly that hurt worse. Incision has a little discomfort but overall it was not the pain that I was expecting. Congratulations on your big day tomorrow. Stay positive and prayerful. Don't worry about it. It will go by so fast.

Wow, Congrats to all of you Ladies! Ant thanks for sharing your info! I can't wait to be irratated by being on all liquids My first appointment isn't until the 29th and my insurance has a 3 month wait. So until then I will rejoice with everyone

Your 3 months will go by fast. And these forums are great for support and loads of info.

Oh the most pain was waking up from surgery. And shortly after the morphine kicks in.. lol the only pain now I have is in my right side incisions they are sore but I haven't even took any pain medicine for two days so it's not unbearable. I really wasn't liking the liquid Vicodin it personally made me kind of nauseous. But you will be fine it's all worth it!
