Stay clear of Coordinaters like Stacey Eckel aka Dragonsloard and Bill Yanez, they have a group called Saving our lives with WLS. Do your own research. Think for yourself, these people are voulchers!

I just spoke to Bill Yanez.....he made it sound like I had to go through him to have surgery with Dr. Quniones. He said he was Dr. Quinones' business partner. Is there another avenue I should take to schedule surgery with Dr. Quninones? Is Stacy Eckel his wife also? This is a whole new world to me....thinking about having surgery in Mexico since my husband's insurance excludes bariatric surgery. It's scary enough thinking of going to Mexico to do this, but do I have to worry about being scammed too?

I'll be 8 weeks post-op tomorrow with Dr. Quinones and I went through Bill, who is his coordinator. All of the Mexico surgeons I was considering use coordinators to answer basic questions. Post-op I had a few questions and one incision I wanted Dr. Quinones to look at (I sent a picture via email) and he sent things on to Dr. Q.

I am not going to say on here but she is a trouble maker is all I can say. Continue your research and I hope you find the best doctor for you!

What worries you about going through Bill? He is the coordinator for Dr. Q. he sets everything up for you. No worries no scams with this doctor what so ever. I understand i was the same way well not as apprehensive as you at the moment but there were thoughts. Now after I and 3 of my co workers have went I can only say that you are safe with them. Good luck. Need anything just ask. PM anything!!

Also, since she was complaining so much (even though everything went well) Dr. Quinones took her lies into concideration and paid $1000 out of his own pocket for a ambulance to take her to San Diego hospital. So her canceled $5300 cashiers check + $1000. This woman pisses me off! She is a liar and fraud! She didn't want to pay, she got away with robbery!! She canceled that cashiers check 2 weeks ago!!! But regrdless, the least they will do is small claims in San Diego! I told Henry they (him and Dr Q) should go visit that woman, even though evil has no concience!!! They are with the lawyer now!

For one.... You cannot cancel a cashier's check.
And two..... I personally know people who had to have 3 extra surgeries after theirs with this doctor.

SAVING MONEY IS NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!
DO not go to mexico to have any surgery. Stay in the states where they have the education, technology and resources that are not available in Mexico.

Like I tell my students, just because something is online doesn't make it true. And we have no way to know what really happened here.
