DR Quinones NIGHTMARE

I had gastric bypass last night with Quinones on Tijuana and it was the worst experience of my life. I am currently in the ICU at a San Diego hospital waiting on another surgery. I am not doing well and when I am ok enough to type all that went wrong I will. It got so bad my mother had to call the American Consulate to force him to release me to the US for proper care

If you were in ICU with a real emergency lady, you wouldn't be getting on the computer!!! I would say you are not smart, but you planned it out perfectly so maybe you are. The thing that makes me angry is that you got away with ripping Dr Q off for $5300, and the fact he had a good heart to pay $1000 out of his own pocket!!! You should had just stayed in your bed in ICU and off your laptop because you are on deaths door. If anyone even hears your lies, I will be there to tell them what a con artist you really are!!! You will be held liable to pay for the surgery, and I hope they throw your butt in jail!!!

Go to the Dr. Quinones group please. I made the group, you are more than free to join and look at the threads and stories. This lady knows what she did, thats why she is in ICU in such bad shape and on her laptop bashing a Dr who she downright stole from. If you look at some of her post you can tell she has a split personality!!! Please feel free to join! You will see the post about the "Fraudulant Member"!

Well, I hope you are telling the truth because I just referred my friend to Dr. Quinones as I had only heard great things about him (even though I used Almanza). I would hate for my friend to have a bad experience. Thanks for letting us know. I was just told by someone else that there are a lot of people who even make up FAKE cashier's checks!

It wasn't fake, they called the bank and it had a stop payment 2 weeks prior! It was nothing more than a piece of paper. This lady is very low, just a con artist!!!

"This is a warning, In the country of Mexico by law once services have been rendered services has to be paid on the spot. Eva Young Chavez aka "NewMe82" came to our group and had a gastric bypass on 11/12/2012 she received medical services performed by Dr.Quinones. She started to making excuses about care and services, had her mother call and insult staff and doctor. Dr.Quinones out of his own pocket paid $1,000.00 for her to go to San Diego to a hospital even though she was completely fine. Eva gave a non-valid cashiers check for $5,300.00 cashiers check had a stop payment on it, and due to the holiday the check was not able to be verified until the next day, after she left the country. Eva has been reported to Mexican and US authorities as a person who has committed a fraud. Medical records and witnesses have testified to that fact and if she returns to Mexico she will be detained as soon as she enters the country. Eva has threatened to defame, the doctor and we would like to share the true facts of this issue with patients first. We will be pursuing this matter. "

Oh God I wondered how she would be on the computer while in ICU...lol.. But why defame the Dr. ? They wouldnt have her in ICU if nothing was wrong. So thats probably a lie. She was probably looked at and then sent on her way. IDK... My bank also doesn't put a stop payment on cashiers checks over the phone. They need the actual check. So I don't know whats going on here. But I feel bad for the Dr because I felt he was very compasionate and experienced. So was there really an issue or did she just claim pain? Then her mom was duped too or her mom was in on it? Im sure she will get away with it and also cost out healthcare system a bunch too that she won't pay. Karma is more clever than any of us. I think they should be able to sue her somehow. What about the deposit. Don't tell me they let her come there without any deposit?

Which hospital are you at? Sharps Chula Vista? It is the closest fully staffed hospital near the border in San Diego. My friends mother spent almost a month in the ICU at Sharps Chula Vista they do not allow any electronics in the ICU at all. I hope you have good insurance because that is AN EXPENSIVE hospital here in San Diego to be in the ICU at.

in mexico by law you have to pay for services before you can leave the us consulate has no authority in mexico its by Dr Quinones good heart and concern for her happiness that she was released Mexico is an Autonomous Country that does not answer to the US the consulate respects our laws.. We let her go because of our good wil

What is wrong with people? These doctors are giving us great deals with their prices and we would never be treated as well in a North American hospital as we are there (hotels and hospitals and those who drive us around). What a rotten thing to do. It will just make things a little more difficult for those who follow...

That is a complete lie and they know it the red cross and my mother covered my transportation costs and if you call the consulate they will confirm that. I am for at least three weeks and the dr just left again telling me I am lucky to be alive. I have the pictures and proof. Even the hospital here is confirming it was not done properly so believe who you want I was coming here as a warning period...As for the cashiers check it was purchased three days before coming down so that is a lie about the two weeks. Also the bank reversed it after speaking to the consulate and the drs here who told them it was a botch job.

I would say that if you were in the ICU, near deaths door, you sure wouldn't be on the computer!! I've had 2 surgeries in the last few months, and with neither of those did I feel like being on the computer. Just saying...
