All these stories make me wonder how much money we will save on food that we DON'T eat for the rest our lives. I'm not sleeved yet and am thinking I will end up paying about $4000 out of pocket even with my insurance here in the states. So it seems like I will recoup that money eventually cuz I won't be eating so much.

I spent 50 dollars bi-weekly at the hospital I worked at for food. I ate breakfast and lunch there every day I worked, and sometimes dinner since they were 12 hour shifts.

During my 2 week pre-op liquid diet, I spent 3 dollars. Highfive for all of our extra cash!

My surgery is dec 3... I start liquid diet this monday the 26th well my bday is sun the 25th.. Lol so my last meal will be Italian :-)

Before my preop diet, my "going out with a bang" meal will be at the Keg. Mushroom Neptune as an appy, Filet Mignon, Asparagus, twice baked potato with cheese butter and sour cream, cheese cake for dessert..........so my. If you're gonna do it, do it right!!
