a updated before/after thread, almost 13 months and 148lbs down

Seeing as my old thread got brought up I thought I'd update with some more recent pictures. Not great shots seeing as my son was taking them and he apparently doesn't like including my head in the shots lol. But here they are, taken Oct 11/12. Before shot taken Sept 14/11

Been quite the ride, and Im now struggling to learn how to maintain without losing more (I think I want to be at between 135-140? still trying to find that ideal spot), but I'm at 132 and still losing. Just had hernia surgery so I'm still recovering from that.

For those wondering if it's worth it, let me tell you without a doubt it is. Pant Size 24-4, and top 3x-med/sm in a year. Its like a dream and I'm having so much fun with it. My husband not so much because I have found the joy of shopping :lol

Ladies and gentlemen... we have found our poster-child for VSG! LOL - You're transformation is nothing short of amazing and if you feel even half as good as you look, you must be on top of the world! My husband's ok with my shopping fetish since he's really liking what he sees these days I don't even dare dream about wearing a size 4... although I've got my sights well set on a 6. But who knows what could happen, I'm only 4 1/2 months out and in a 10 already (some quite loose). But I just have to say congratulations!!! You are definitely a huge inspiration for those who are behind you, awaiting surgery and considering it. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I had plenty of stalls, got off track a time or two, got frustrated, self doubted out the wazoo, etc. when I felt that mind set coming on I tried to let go of the emotional part of me and focus on logic. Not always a easy task. I tried to keep the big picture in mind. Yes it's been 2 weeks since I lost anything, but I've lost ## lbs already. I just need to keep on doing it right and it will keep dropping. It always does, the body just needs to catch up with itself.

This whole thing isn't about the sprints to the next goal, it's about the journey to lifetime health and feeling better both physically and mentally. And let me tell you, size 4 cute jeans make you feel a whole lot better lol.
