We head out December 7th for my surgery on the 8th. I'm having a belt lipectomy, breast augmentation/lift and butt lift. Any positive thoughts/healing vibes you can send my way are greatly appreciated.
HI Penney. I heard through the grapevine that Jerusalem won't be doing plastics in the New Year anymore. You'll have to check with Melissa (or your coordinator) about that though. They were 5500 for tummy and breasts, with an extra 500 for butt, but again, I don't think that's the case now. All the best.
Can you tel me who your Dr. was for the TT and breastlift. I recently had the sleeve and was just informed that Jerusalem will no longer be dong plastics so I'd like to know the name of your Dr. maybe he started his own practice in a different location.
I will be having the TT,Lipo, and Breast Agg at Jerusalem Hospital on DEC 12.
I had my sleeve done at Jerusalem Hospital on Nov 19 2011 and have had great results. I was not nerves one bit on the sleeve surgery, but I have become worried on my up coming tummy tuck. The Lipo, and Breast agg, or the surgery its self is not what worries me, It is the scar that is left behind from the tummy tuck. Any advice?
My tummy tuck and breasts were a breeze. The arms-no walk in the park. The tummy tuck scar-no use "worrying about" it. You cant avoid it. Mine is so low. I can wear bikini without it showing but it is still dark since July. But, my hystetectomy scar took about a year or more then it was almost invisible. However, everyone scars/heals differently.
Just to clarify the above "a breeze" statement: I did not need lipo and had NO LIPO. That makes a BIG difference with the post op pain factor. Dr Niebles doesnt just do lipo if he doesnt feel its needed, he advises the patient beforehand.
Hi Katie. A belt lipectomy is like a 360 degree tummy tuck. To be blunt and simple: they cut all the way around, take a strip out of the middle, and stitch the top and bottom back together. Same principle as a tuck, just a little more intense. It's for those of us who need more than just the tummy.
I had a MMO three weeks ago with Niebles in TJ. I agree the lipo was the worst, actually the rest of the pain was very tolerable. I had the surgery on Thursday and was heading home on Saturday. I still can't believe it is me in the mirror.
I am traveling to the East Coast for my son's graduation in just over two weeks, I got a dress to wear to it and WOW was all I could say. My daughter picked it out, I didn't even want to try it on because of the disappointment of it not fitting. It fit like a glove, showed my now curvy body (honestly I had more curves before just not the ones anyone would WANT!!), it is fitted with a belted waist. I have not liked the way I looked for about 33 years, this feels amazing!!
Plastics aren't for everyone, some people are lucky and don't have the large flap of a tummy but mine was never going to go away on it's own. No regrets here!
God gave us people to love and things to use, not things to love and people to use.
