mirnsy-- Just because someone else has an opposing opinion to yours doesn't mean they are an imaginary person. Lots of people have their own opinions and experiences that don't parallel yours. If that were the case, we'd all be thin, perfect, and rich and none of us would be on this forum to lose weight or be self-pay patients in Mexico. Can you respect the fact that maybe other people did have good experiences with Dr. Quinones and are wanting to help encourage others to do something positive for themselves that they can afford? Or are you one of those mean girls that wants to keep other people down and only promote your own selfish agenda?

Since you abrubtly cancelled 3 days to the date, and cost them money since I am sure they did not have a replacement..., can you explain WHY? Is there something that scared you? Something worse than the things I have read about Pompa? I think its called defaming and Judge Judy would soooo shake her finger at you.. LOL!!

Mirnsy, I would apprec iate you not mentioning my situation in your rants about Dr Quinones. I am an educated person and an RN (nurse). I recieved excellent care from a great surgeon who had my best interests and health at heart. Every surgery known to man can have complications.....minor or major. I am grateful that mine was minor and fixed instead of being sent back to the US and having to go straight to the OR here. Please if you have questions about my procedure, ask me.....do not post about me and my experience without the knowledge of it.

Im paying my deposit on 11/15/2012 and scheduling for the next available appt.

Euvette, Great decison girl! This Mirnsey wasn't slamming Dr. Quinones' skills as a surgeon anyway. She was ranting on about how she cancelled just a couple of days before her surgery and then expected all her deposit back. How stupid can people be anyway!

Yes a couple, not a few. Surgery was Wednesday, she canceled Monday=2 days. Most Dr's would make you forfeit your deposit for canceling before 7 days at least!!!

I have been emailing Henry and he wrote that I would get my deposit back. He also agreed to a $500 deposit instead. He has been nothing but helpful through this process and answers my questions promptly even on a Sunday!! oh and I can pay the deposit by Paypal, the remainder by an online email transfer to their US bank or certified cheque/bank draft. I'm very happy with all the options. I haven't seen a tonne of blogs about Dr Quinones but what I have read are good reviews. I'm making my final decision in the next couple of days. I was happy also happy with Dr Almanza's reviews...granted he had some issues a few years ago but i feel confident they were isolated cases. research, research and research some more and make a decision that you are comfortable with!
